Srikanth Trailer: Rajkummar Rao Deftly Carries The Positive Attitude Of Srikanth Bolla

The music of the trailer has lessened the harshness of the biopic and made it more interesting to watch this biographical drama of Srikanth Bolla.

T-Series shared the three minute long clip of Srikanth’s trailer on April 9. This biopic is based on the life of Srikanth Bolla, who was a visually challenged kid but with a strong desire and aspiration to be the one. There has been a very simple yet motivational line said by little Srikanth in the film, he says, “I can’t run, I can only fight.” The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Jyothika, Alaya F and Sharad Kelkar in prominent roles.

The trailer opens with a dialogue when Srikanth expresses his future aim, saying he wants to be India’s first visually challenged President. Sharad Kelkar’s background voice seems pleasant in the trailer. Jyothika is playing the role of Srikanth’s teacher. Rajkummar Rao has deftly portrayed the visually challenged person, and he has carried the perfect positive attitude of Srikanth Bolla. There are many glimpses of Srikanth’s smartness throughout the movie; being the headboy, his 12th standard percentage, his cricket skills, etc. The trailer has shown that he files a lawsuit against the Indian Education System as it denies him admission in the science stream. Later, he gets scholarship from the top 4 universities in the world. Alaya F portrays the love angle in the film. She seems impressed with the extra-ordinary skills Srikanth has.

The trailer shed light on the dark side of his visionary career. He becomes helpless when the airport authorities don’t let him travel alone when he gets admission in MIT. Later, he decides to create jobs for visually impaired people.

The trailer keeps audiences engaged in the riveting story of what will happen next, although it is a biographical drama.  The makers have presented the trailer in such a way that it doesn’t seem like a struggling, sad story of someone, and the reason behind it is music. The music has set an altogether different tone for the film. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, this film will be released on 10th May in theatres.
