Sonu Sood currently has become the talk of the town and is hitting the headlines for his noble gesture of helping out the migrant workers to reach their respective states or villages amid the lockdown. These daily wage migrant workers were stranded in the city when the lockdown got imposed in March.
However, actor Sonu Sood stepped forward and lent a helping hand to these workers. He arranged private buses for them and he also made sure that they are well sanitized for the people to travel in it. He himself went there and talked to the migrant workers and asked them to take care of themselves.
Sonu’s charity work is being praised by everyone and people have started to call him the ‘real hero’. Meanwhile, Punjab’s Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Thursday also lauded the Bollywood actor who has been born and brought up in the state, for his work amid the COVID-19 crises.
Amarinder Singh tweeted, “It fills me with immense pride whenever I read about my fellow Punjabis going beyond their call of duty to help those in need and this time it is our Moga boy Sonu Sood who has been actively helping migrant workers by arranging for their food and transportation.” He then added, “Good work Sonu!”
A couple of days back celebrity chef Vikas Khanna prepared a special dish and named it ‘Moga’ after the town in Punjab where Sonu Sood was born. Vikas was impressed with Sonu’s selfless deed and thus he named a dish to pay tribute to it.
Vikas shared the picture of the dish and captioned it, “Dear @SonuSood everyday you are inspiring us. Can’t cook for you right now in appreciation of your work. So sending you a dish. Im going to name “MOGA” after your birthplace. #Respect #RealHero.”
Sonu Sood has proved that not only is he a good actor but also a person with a big heart.
