The 47-year-old Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack on Thursday evening, he later underwent angioplasty on Friday at Bellevue Hospital in Mumbai’s Andheri area. Reportedly the actor suffered a cardiac arrest after he returned from the Welcome 3 shoot.
The hospital revealed that the angioplasty was conducted at around 10 pm on Friday. Later the hospital authorities confirmed that the surgery was successful and that the actor’s condition was stable, and he was doing fine.
As per Hindustan Times, Shreyas Talpade’s wife rushed him to the hospital after he complained of uneasiness, however, he collapsed on the way. A source revealed to the portal that Shreyas Talpade shot through the day for ‘Welcome To Jungle’, and was absolutely fine, and joking around with everyone on the set.
The source added that the actor even shot sequences that had a bit of action. After finishing the shoot, he went back home and told his wife that he was feeling uneasy. She rushed him to the hospital but he collapsed on the way.
Reacting to the news a segment of social media users prayed for the recovery of the actor. A user wrote, “Get well soon ganpati bappa thik kre jaldi se”, one user commented, “Prayers. for his speedy recovery. I have met him he is a very nice and genuine person in my college days.”, another user commented, “oh no hope we get to hear some good news about his recovery soon.”
For the unversed, Shreyas Talpade was previously seen in blockbuster films like Om Shanti Om, Golmaal Returns, Dor, and Housefull 2. Meanwhile, on the work front, Shreyas Talpade will soon be seen in Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency. He will also be seen in Ahmed Khan’s upcoming film, Welcome 3.
