Diljit Dosanjh has always been private about his personal life, especially when it comes to his family. Although he recently talked about his difficult relationship with his parents, he has kept them away from the public eye. While he hasn’t spoken about his wife and child, a friend now claims that Diljit is married and has a son. However, Diljit himself hasn’t responded to these claims yet.
In a profile feature by Indian Express for their Sunday Express Eye section, an unidentified friend has revealed details about Diljit Dosanjh’s wife and child. According to the friend, the Punjabi singer’s wife is of Indian-American descent, and they have a son together. As quoted by the portal, the friend stated, “An intensely private person, little is known about his family but friends say his wife is an American-Indian and they have a son, and his parents live in Ludhiana”.
According to the report, his wife and son reside in the US. In a previous interview with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, Diljit mentioned that he has never experienced heartbreak. He also discussed the distance that grew between him and his family during his youth.
He said, “I was eleven years old when I left my home and started living with my mamaji. I came to the city leaving my village behind. I shifted to Ludhiana. He said ‘send him to the city with me’ and my parents said ‘Yes, take him.’ My parents did not even ask me… Also, we didn’t have mobile phones back then, even if I had to call home or receive a call from my parents, it cost us money. So I started becoming distant from my family”.
