Whenever there’s a discussion around Wolverine, we all instantly co-relate it to Australian actor Hugh Jackman. He holds the Guinness World Record of the “longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero” with Patrick Stewart. Breaking into such iconic characters isn’t easy. However, Bollywood actor Sharad Kelkar has been offered this tough task to be the Wolverine in Marvel’s Wastelanders (Hindi).
Sharad Kelkar will be giving his voice to the iconic character of Wolverine in Marvel’s audio series. Marvel’s Wastelanders is an interconnected series of six radio drama podcasts produced by Marvel New Media launched in June 2021. Audio platform ‘Audible’ is now presenting the series in Hindi. Celebs like Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Prajakta Koli, Masaba Gupta, Ashish Vidyarthi etc have been signed to lend their voice for the audio series.
Sharad Kelkar, who’ll give his voice to the iconic character Wolverine, said during a media interaction, “I am a huge fan of Marvel family. You can see the jacket I am wearing which I bought 10 years back because of Wolverine. And now it is time to play Wolverine. As an actor, it is a very good opportunity because I can play Wolverine according to myself. Really excited for this. It’s a different world, different time and different emotion.”
