Shaitaan Box Office Collection Day 2: Film Sees ‘HUGE’ Growth, Crosses 30Cr Mark!

After a blockbuster opening, Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan starrer "Shaitaan" witnessed tremendous growth on Saturday.

Vikas Bahl’s much-awaited Bollywood horror-thriller, “Shaitaan” was released in theatres on 8th March. Starring Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, and Jyotika, the film opened up to positive reviews from both moviegoers and critics. Following the positive response, the horror film registered a “bumper opening” at the box office. As per the latest reports, the film witnessed huge growth on its second day (Saturday) at the box office.

As per Sacnilk.com, Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan starrer “Shaitaan” has registered a blockbuster opening at the box office. As per the portal, the horror-thriller earned a solid ₹ 14.00 Cr on its first day at the box office. Seeing further growth on Saturday the film earned ₹ 18.25 Cr, on Saturday. Shaitaan now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 33 Cr.

“Shaitaan” narrates the tale of a family of four, grappling to survive after encountering a malevolent black magician portrayed by R. Madhavan. The trailer features the story of a family’s encounter with an unexpected visitor, played by R Madhavan, who intrudes upon their isolated farmhouse in the hills. He claims to have hypnotized Janhvi (played by Janki Bodiwala), the daughter of Ajay Devgn’s character. Following this revelation, chaos erupts, with Jyotika playing the role of Ajay’s wife in the film.
