With the year ending now, this has come in like the most happening scoop of the day wherein the bonafide globally loved Bollywood superstar Shahid and Vijay Sethupathi’s webseries finally gets permanent title.

Shahid is all set and geared up to start working on his much awaited digital OTT debut series which is being helmed by Raj Ndimoru and Krishna DK.
While the makers haven’t officially announced about this project, but a lot has been known about it till now wherein this is primarily going to be a thriller genre based digital webseries. The shoot of the series will be going on floors by Jan 2021 which also stars the South industry superstar Vijay Sethupathi in a key leading role as well.
The series is all set to start production and filming by next month Jan 2021. It is going to be streamed on the globally renowned digital OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video as an original. Also, if the latest and confirmed new reports of a leading digital entertainment website are to be believed, then the much awaited series which marks the official big OTT digital debut of the Bollywood superstar and heartthrob Shahid Kapoor has gotten its title as well.
The said digital media entertainment portal’s report has asserted that this most eagerly anticipated series of 2021 featuring Shahid and Vijay in leading roles, has been titled tentatively as Gavar which is an Hindi word, wherein in English it means illiterate.
The report also clearly mentioned that both the actors, i.e. Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi have officially signed their contracts for the same and also locked in their dates for this digital series project. This show is going to be shot extensively across both Mumbai and Goa where the shooting and filming schedule will start from early January 2021. It is going to be either an eight or ten episodic webseries that will be wrapped up totally by March / April 2021.
Shahid was originally meant to embark and start working on Karan Johar’s Yoddha which is being helmed by Shashank Khaitan before this digital series project. But, now the news reports say that the actor has backed out and walked out of this film owing to the creative differences and now directly will be seen starting his shooting for the Raj and DK’s action thriller webseries.
