Almost after 24 years of marriage, Salman Khan’s brother Sohail Khan and his wife Seema Sajdeh decided to part ways. While in the latest season of the Netflix series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives star Seema Sajdeh was seen sharing a talk with her son Nirvaan Khan about her split with her husband and actor Sohail Khan. Here’s what she said-
Seema Sajdeh Talks To Her Son About Her Divorce With Sohail Khan
In the first episode of the popular reality, web show Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, Sohail Khan’s wife Seema Sajdeh was seen changing her house nameplate that read ‘Seema, Nirvaan, Yohaan’. While in the latest episode of the show Seema’s son Nirvaan notices the change and shows his objection to the same.
Sharing his objection to changing the nameplate, he says, “We’re a family of four, all Khans. But just removing the surname, putting three of our names, you’ve basically indirectly removed just one person’s name.” He adds, “It’s a little unnecessary. It doesn’t need to be done. What’s the difference? At the end of the day, you’re still Khan. We’re still Khan.”
Confronting her divorce and relationship with Sohail Khan, Seema says, “But you know that I won’t stay a Khan much longer.” Nirvaan further asks Seema to change the nameplate to ‘Khan and Sajdeh,’. Reacting to the same Seema says, “How can I do that, Nirvaan? That’s why there is no last name involved, it’s the three of us. It doesn’t discount the fact that we are always going to be a family but at the same time Nirvaan, I am also at a point in my life where I feel that I have to put one foot ahead.”
She further adds, “I am neither here nor there at the moment. You and Yohan will have that last name which will not be my last name. It’s something that I’m still trying to wrap my head around, which is why I don’t want last names,”
Seema Sajdeh Talks About Her Divorce With Maheep Kapoor
In the show, Seema opens up about her split with Sohail Khan, while Maheep later asks Seema if she has any plans on falling in love again, to this Seema says, “When I got married, I thought it was forever. That’s how we’re brought up, D-word is like a taboo.” She further added, “What’s more important is that you have two happy parents. Sohail is always going to be the father of those children. And I am the mother and that bond no one can break. But sometimes I feel like, my biggest regret is that have I robbed them of this family. Sometimes there’s a bit of guilt.”
Seema Sajdeh And Sohail Khan
Sohail met Seema for the first time while shooting for ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’. Back in the day, Seema was striving to make her name in the fashion industry. They both fell in love with each other and finally took the decision to get married. They tied the knot in the year 1998. Right after marriage, the couple was blessed with their first child whom they named Nirvaan Khan. After having a boy child, both became parents to another boy child in 2011.
