The much awaited third part of Hera Pheri film series finally went on floors few days ago after the wait of 17 years. Fans are eager to see Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty’s popular trio again on the screen. But as per latest reports, there is a new entry in this third part that. The report claims that Sanjay Dutt has come on board as a villain for third part.
The Bollywood Hungama’s source confirmed the same. “Sanjay Dutt has indeed signed the film. It is said that he’ll be playing one of the antagonists in the film. His character is blind and is quite quirky. He’s expected to add to the madness quotient of the Hera Pheri series”, the source told Bollywood Hungama
The source further said, “Sanjay Dutt is superb in comedy roles and the makers felt he’ll be right for this role. Moreover, his casting will add to the brand value. He’s an exciting addition to the Hera Pheri universe and it’ll be interesting for the audiences to see him locking horns with Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel Shetty) and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (Paresh Rawal)”.
Hera Pheri 3 went on floors on Tuesday, February 21. The film will be helmed by Farhad Samji. Netizens are not happy with Farhad taking over director’s duty from Aneese Bazmi. Few even started petition to replace the director.
