Somy Ali, a former Bollywood actress and Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend from the 1990s, recently shared revealing insights about the actor’s past relationships in an interview with Aaj Tak. Somy disclosed details about Salman Khan’s almost-marriage to his ex-girlfriend, Sangeeta Bijlani, and her own tumultuous relationship with the superstar.

During the interview, Somy Ali disclosed that wedding cards were printed for Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani’s wedding. However, their impending nuptials were abruptly canceled when Sangeeta reportedly caught Salman red-handed cheating on her. This revelation sheds light on the dramatic turn of events that occurred during their relationship.

Somy Ali commented on the situation, saying, “The wedding cards were printed, but Sangeeta caught Salman red-handed in my apartment. What Salman did to Sangeeta, the same happened to me. This is called karma, when I grew up a little, I understood about it.”

Somy Ali also shared her personal experiences in her relationship with Salman Khan. She confessed that she had moved to Mumbai with aspirations of entering the film industry and harbored a deep crush on Salman Khan. However, their relationship turned turbulent, with allegations of abuse. Somy revealed that she endured physical abuse and emotional manipulation under the guise of love and care.

While Salman and Somy’s relationship was short-lived in the public eye, Somy has previously stated that they had an affair that spanned eight years. She has not shied away from criticizing Salman Khan in the past, referring to him as a ‘woman beater’ and ‘sadistic.’ Somy has candidly admitted that the memories of her tumultuous relationship with the “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” actor continue to haunt her.

In addition to their personal history, Somy Ali and Salman Khan had worked together in the 1992 film “Buland,” although the film was never released theatrically. Somy is known for her role in the 1997 film “Chupp.” Today, she has dedicated her life to social activism, passionately championing women’s rights in South Asia through her non-governmental organization (NGO).
