Ranbir Kapoor As Ram
As per several reports, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen essaying the role of lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s film, Ramayan. A source previously revealed to Koimoi that Ranbir Kapoor had quit smoking and drinking and has adopted a more restrained lifestyle to improve his public image and for his role as Ram.
Sai Pallavi As Sita
Alongside Ranbir, South actress Sai Pallavi who is known for her soft and pure public image and personality will be seen essaying the role of godess Sita in the film. Many fans hailed the choice of makers for casting Sai Pallavi as Sita since she has a more scot-free public image than many other actresses in the film industry.
Yash As Ravan
Apart from Ranbir and Sai Pallavi, KGF star Yash will be seen essaying the role of Ravan in the film.
Sunny Deol As Hanuman
According to Pinkvilla, Ramayan will be a trilogy, and Sunny Deol will be seen having a cameo in the first part of the trilogy as Hanuman however he will have full-screen time in the 2nd and 3rd part of the trilogy.
Bobby Deol As Kumbhakarna
Although not confirmed, however, it is believed that accompanying his brother Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol will be seen playing the role of “Kumbhakarna” in the film.
Lara Dutta As Kaikeyi
As per Pinkvilla Lara Dutta is being considered for the role of Princess Kaikeyi, the third consort of King Dasharatha.
Vijay Sethupathi As Vibhishan
Last but not least, it is believed that the makers have also approached South actor Vijay Sethupathi for the role of Vibhishan in Ramayan.
