Filmmaker Rohit Shetty who is currently gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated web series, Indian Police Force, recently spilled beans on his upcoming g projects and films after Indian Police Force and Singham Again. During the conversation, the filmmaker confirmed the 5th addition to his franchise Golmaal.
Rohit Shetty Confirms Golmaal 5
In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, director Rohit Shetty confirmed the sequel of Golmaal. Talking about Golmaal 5 the filmmaker said that Golmaal 5 is on the cards and will happen for sure, “Golmaal 5 will happen for sure. Looking at the response, I will have to make it a little soon. I think you will get Golmaal 5 in the next 2 years”.
He further added that the next addition to the Golmaal franchise has to be better than the previous ones, “I think, cinema in today’s time has to be grand and bigger than the likes of All The Best and Golmaal, which I made back in the day. By big, I don’t mean action. I can’t add action in Golmaal, but I can amp up the scale in the genre. There are so many fans of Golmaal, and I am making this brand for the fans. The next Golmaal film has to be bigger, and better though it’s a comedy franchise.”
Rohit Shetty To Make Films Like Chennai Express
Apart from Golmaal 5, Rohit Shetty also revealed that apart from his “cop-verse” he feels that he should make more films like SRK starrer Chennai Express, he said, “Even I feel the need to make a film like Chennai Express. If I crack a story which is good and grand, I will make a fresh film”.
Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force
On the work front, Rohit Shetty is currently awaiting the release of his web series Indian Police Force. Indian Police Force, is scheduled to be released on January 19 on Amazon Prime. The web series stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles. Apart from them it also stars Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, and Lalit Parimoo in significant roles.
Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again
Apart from Indian Police Force Rohit Shetty also has Singham Again in the pipeline. Singham Again will feature Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shross, and others.
