On Sunday, Ranveer Singh, Kriti Sanon, and fashion designer Manish Malhotra made a visit to Varanasi. They visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer prayers before the actors took to the ramp for the designer.
Ranveer and Kriti were seen in traditional attire as they visited the Dashashwamedh Ghat to offer prayers. Kriti wore a yellow kurta-pajama set, while Ranveer chose a white kurta, and Manish was dressed in pink and white. Ranveer also engaged with fans at the ghat, greeting and waving to the crowd.
Manish’s fashion show on Sunday evening was a highlight of the two-day event at Namo Ghat, organized by the Indian Minorities Foundation to showcase the handlooms and handicrafts of Varanasi. Ranveer and Kriti took on the roles of showstoppers for a collection titled “Banarasi Saree” – a celebration of Indian culture and craftsmanship. Ranveer adorned a metallic and dark-colored sherwani, while Kriti dazzled in a bridal red lehenga.
On the work front, Ranveer is set to reprise his role as Simmba in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama “Singham Again,” where Ajay Devgn will lead the cast, alongside Deepika Padukone as Shakti Shetty. Additionally, Ranveer will star in Farhan Akhtar’s “Don 3.” Kriti recently appeared in “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” and “Crew”, she is set to appear soon in “Do Patti” next.
