Ranbir Kapoor is unquestionably one of the most commercially successful actors in the Bollywood industry. The actor gained a huge fan base all over the world thanks to his fantastic work in Rockstar and the entrancing music album by AR Rahman. For a while now, the actor has been stepping outside of his comfort zone by experimenting with roles that have never been seen before. He recently discussed the characters who had the biggest impact on him while speaking with a reporter as he waits for the premiere of his new film Tu Jhooti Main Makkar, which stars Shraddha Kapoor.
While speaking with Koimoi, the actor was asked about the movies and characters that had a profound effect on his acting. Ranbir claimed that the performances of Allu Arjun as Pushpa and his wife Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR astounded him both as an audience member and as an actor. He quoted, “Only in the previous two years, I think three films had an impact on me in terms of performances, including Allu Arjun in Pushpa.”
The Sanju actor further added that if he had gotten a chance to play a character like theirs, it would have been great. “All of these films impacted me a lot, both as an audience and as an actor,” he said. “I was like, wow, if I had gotten a character like this, it would have been so nice.”
Talking about Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhooti Mein Makkar, it is all set to hit theatres on March 8, overlapping with the Holi weekend. The film will also star Shraddha Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor, and Anubhav Singh Bassi in pivotal roles.
