Ranbir Kapoor Shares Details On Animal Park, Addresses Criticism Around The Film

In a recent conversation with Anubhav Singh Bassi, Ranbir Kapoor shared details on "Animal Park" and addressed criticism around Animal.

After the huge box office success of Animal, Sandeep Reddy Vanga will be coming back with the second installment of the film, Animal Park. In a recent interview, Animal actor Ranbir Kapoor shared some interesting details about the sequel, Animal Park. Additionally, Ranbir Kapoor addressed the criticism around the film, Animal.

Ranbir Kapoor Shares Details About Animal Park

During a conversation with actor and stand-up comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi for Netflix India, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about Animal and revealed that during the production stage of the film no one including himself, and other cast members like Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and others has no idea about their role since Sandeep Reddy Vanga was very secretive about the script.

Talking about Animal Park Ranbir revealed that the sequel is going to be “darker and deeper”, Ranbir said, “He (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) has one or two scenes ready, which he narrated to me, and they are very exciting. Now, because of the success of part one, he has the confidence and courage to go even darker, deeper, and more complex. He can do anything.”

Ranbir Kapoor Addresses Criticism Around Animal

For the unversed Animal was hugely criticized by the audience and critics for the display of “toxic masculinity” and extreme violence. Talking about the same Ranbir said, “There is a very healthy conversation that has started about toxic masculinity also, which is a great thing because cinema, at least, it starts a conversation. If something is wrong, if you don’t show that it is wrong, and unless conversation starts in the society, we will never realize it.”
