Ram Gopal Varma’s most controversial film “Dangerous: Khatra”, made on the first lesbian love story in India, is finally ready to hit the theaters on 8th April 2022.

The film was waiting to be cleared by the censor board for its bold subject and female homosexual love story and then the film was passed by the censor board with an ‘A’ certificate.

Ram Gopal Varma has expressed happiness by sharing the release date on the poster of the film through Twitter. In a recent interview, Ram Gopal Varma said that “we didn’t expect much of “Khatra: Dangerous” to pass through the censors as it is a love story between two women, but gay after the abrogation of Section 377. The relationship has been legalized. I am very happy when the first Indian lesbian film gets an A certificate, I would be very disappointed if it does not get an A certificate”.

The story of the film is based on the love between two women and their homosexual relationship. Those who are dissatisfied with this male-dominated society are attracted to each other. Very bold and intimate scenes have been shot in this crime thriller-drama film. In the film, the hot sirens of South films Apsara Rani and Naina Ganguly are in the lead roles.
