Rahul Roy was once the blue-eyed man of Bollywood, especially after starring in Mahesh Bhatt’s cult romantic musical Aashiqui, opposite Anu Aggarwal. Rahul Roy was once a highly popular Bollywood actor, especially after his role in Mahesh Bhatt’s romantic musical film, Aashiqui, alongside Anu Aggarwal. However, despite his initial success, Rahul’s career took a different turn, and he could only deliver another hit with Junoon.

In a recent interview, he shared what went wrong after Aashiqui. During the interview, Rahul alleged that he was misled by filmmakers who offered him certain roles but then gave him something entirely different on set. He stated, “Whatever they wanted of me, they took everything, but they didn’t give me what I was looking for.” Rahul’s sister, Priyanka Roy, explained that he signed many films back-to-back after Aashiqui but couldn’t find the kind of projects he wanted.
