Miss India 2015 runner up Pranati Rai Prakash feels happy to work with Khichdi star Supriya Pathak in a web series titled ‘Cartel’. The crime thriller show started streaming on Alt Balaji on August 20. Pranati plays the role of Sumi Angre in the show. Pranati and Supriya share a bond of daughter and mother in this latest release.
Pranati, who is just a few projects old in the industry shared her experience of working with Supriya Pathak. The model turned actress told, “When I was a kid, my mother used to praise her a lot. So, when I got this show, I was very happy. Script, my character and the co-actors are the three things I look out for while signing a project. You get to learn a lot from your co-actors.”
She further added, “Supriya Pathak Ma’am has so much experience. Initially, I was a bit nervous about working with her. I was afraid that she might be strict. But when I talked to her during our first scene, I realised that she was pretty chilled out. All my scenes with her are pretty intense in the show. So, we didn’t get a chance to have casual chats because we had to be in the mood of the scene. But we did talk a bit, because we are playing mother and daughter on screen. So, we needed to have that bond. I look up to her and I respect her a lot. She used to tell us about her theatre experiences and her upcoming shows.”
