“People Became A Jury In Sushant Singh Rajput’s Case,” says Minissha Lamba

Actor Minissha Lamba feels that the public became a jury in Sushant Singh Rajput's case and came to a conclusion without official investigation.

Actor Minissha Lamba who has worked in popular films like ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Bheja Fry’ feels that the Bollywood industry faced a terrible time after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

The Kai Po Che star died under mysterious circumstances on 14th June last year. His sudden death initiated a debate around nepotism and many celebrities became a victim of online abuse and threats. Speaking on the same, Minissha said, “It was a terrible time. I used to get shocked while watching TV. It felt like someone waved a magic wand and people believed that there was only one truth. I was shocked to see people’s reaction and how they came to a conclusion without an investigation. People became a jury at that time.”

From established stars like Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan to new talents like Ankita Lokhande, Sara Ali Khan etc, many actors were abused on social media by angry mob.
