Payal Ghosh Calls Bollywood Celebs ‘Hypocrites’

In a recent interview, Payal Ghosh called Bollywood celebrities 'hypocrite' as no one supported her when she raised her voice against Anurag Kashyap.

Payal Ghosh made the headlines last year when she accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual harassment. She filed a police complaint against him and even talked about the incident in media.

It’s been several months and the case hasn’t reached a conclusion. Giving the updates, Payal Ghosh said, “The police is still investigating and I have complete faith in the Mumbai Police. But if it takes long enough, I will have to take the matter to the court.”

She further said, “The Me Too movement started in India in 2018. Since then, no one has been covicted. Everyone accused is roaming freely which just proves that no matter how much a girl yells about the harassment done to her. This trend will only stop girls from raising their voice any further.”

Payal told that her friends and family had initially asked her not to raise her voice. She was told that she wouldn’t get any work and her career would end right away. However, with time, she decided to speak for herself. Payal also revealed that she is getting work opportunities.
