Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’s latest film is currently in theaters and despite the mixed reviews, the film has managed to impress fans of Ranbir and his mother Neetu Kapoor. Neetu Kapoor is Ranbir’s most devoted fan and critic. On several occasions, Neetu has been caught supporting his films, be it Brahmastra Part One Shiva or TJMM.
On Sunday, Neetu shared a scene while watching the latest Ranbir movie. In the scene, Mickey (Ranbir) explains to Tinny (Shraddha) why he can’t leave his family to live apart from them. Mickey asks Tinny to understand his side and asks her to accept her family. He assures her that her family will only give her love and that her freedom will not be jeopardized. However, when Tinny disagrees with Mickey, Mickey stands by his decision to break up with her. Neetu shared the scene on his Instagram and wrote “Love this scene/dialog” complete with a heart emoji.

Last December, Ranbir confirmed that Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, directed by Luv Ranjan, will be his latest rom-com (rom-com film). At the film’s trailer release in January, Ranbir was asked if he had reevaluated his decision. Before he could reply anything, the film’s director, Luv Ranjan, cut him off and jokingly said, “I think you made the wrong statement that the producer and director should benefit from this. There’s no point in saying “it could be my last romantic comedy”. That’s such a strange statement. Ranbir gave Luv a witty reply: “Even I have to play it safe.” If the film works, I’ll do another (romantic comedy). If it doesn’t work, the director was wrong,” to which the director said, “Don’t ever think of it like that.”

Ranbir will next be seen in the action drama Animal. Sandeep Reddy Vanga also directs Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film hits theaters on August 11th.
