Mukesh Khanna Slams “Pathaan” Song “Besharam Rang”, Says This

Pathaan: Siddharth Anand’s film Pathaan has sparked extreme outrage on the internet. Apparently, the film’s recently released song “Besharam Rang” has garnered a lot of attention after netizens claimed that the song featured “vulgar visuals” and so now they have demanded the film and the song be permanently banned. Reacting to the controversy “Shaktimaan” actor Mukesh Khanna also slammed the makers and claimed that the major issue in the song is “vulgarity.”

Mukesh Khanna claimed that the song, “Besharam Rang” is an “attack on Hindu religion”, he further claimed that the major issue in the song is the vulgar visuals. Mukesh Khanna further expressed his objection to Deepika Padukone’s clothing in the song. He said, “Our country is no Spain or Sweden or such a country that allows everything. You dared to bring people in such limited clothing, next you will bring them without the clothes.”

Mukesh Khanna further slammed the Censor Board of Film Certification for giving a green signal to the song without censoring and cutting any scenes, “Can they not see all these attacks on the Hindu religion? The job of the censor board is to ensure that films do not hurt anyone’s personal feelings and beliefs. The censor must not pass such films that instigate or lead the youth astray. This song can mess up the minds of the youth, not mislead them. This is not a song made for the OTT, but a film. How could the censor pass it? Did they not see the deliberate provocative dressing?”

Boycott Pathaan’s “Besharam Rang” Controversy

For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan has been facing extreme backlash for its song “Besharam Rang”. Apparently, a segment of netizens have claimed that the song features “vulgar visuals”. Many politicians even expressed their discontent over the use of saffron color in Deepika Padukone’s outfits. Many people even demanded a ban on the film.
