Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna recently headed out to watch the recently released film ‘The Kashmir Files’. After watching the film, he talked to the media waiting to get his reaction. The Shaktimaan fame not only appreciated the film but also slammed those who stand against it. Slamming Kapil Sharma, he said, “Many biggies are not allowing the promotion of this film. These so-called-promoters, who promote films on their shows, are not promoting ‘The Kashmir Files’. I have been told by insiders and even Vivek Agnihotri has said this himself.”
Further targeting film critic Anupama Chopra, Mukesh Khanna added, “I know a director. He is a Kashmiri Pandit and he was in my institute. I read the review of his wife. I wonder what these people are thinking. Don’t you understand that this truth needs reach every citizen? Why do people from our industry consider themselves detached from India? If you still don’t understand the pain, you are not an Indian.”
“So if these big promoters are not promoting the film, the public will do it, like I am doing it today,” he added.
The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, was released in theatres on 11th March.
