A few months ago, actor Kangana Ranaut had offered her support to fellow actor Malvi Malhotra who suffered injuries after a knife attack outside her home in Mumbai for allegedly refusing a man’s marriage proposal. Malvi had asked Kangana for help, stating that she, too, is from Kangana’s home state, Himachal Pradesh.
Extending full support to Malvi, Kangana wrote on Twitter, “This is the truth of film industry, this is what happens to small town strugglers who don’t have connections and proper channels, nepotism kids might defend themselves as much they want but how many of them have been stabbed, raped and killed?”
She further added, “Dear Malvi I am with you, I read you are critical, I pray for you dear girl, requesting @sharmarekha ji to take immediate actions against the culprit, we are with you and we will get you justice. Please have faith.”
A few months have passed and Malvi claims to have received no support from Kangana or her team. In a recent interview, she unvelived the double standards of Kangana.
She said, “I respect her as an actor, but I don’t respect her as a human.”
Malvi said that Kangana is not a woman of the substance and agreed to the fact that she does everything for the limelight. She said that when its time to really help someone, she is nowhere to be seen.
Malvi further told that it was Urmila Matondkar who then steoped up to help her with the case.
