On March 22, two highly anticipated Bollywood films, “Madgaon Express” and “Swatantra Veer Savarkar,” were released. Randeep Hooda’s biographical drama “Swatantra Veer Savarkar” and Kunal Kemmu’s comedy film “Madgaon Express” garnered positive feedback from audiences. Despite the positive reviews, both movies had a slow start at the box office. After seeing decent growth during the first weekend both the films are now aiming to cross the 10cr mark at the box office.
Swatantra Veer Savarkar Box Office Collection Day 4
As per Saclink, Randeep Hooda’s biographical drama earned ₹ 1.05 Cr on Friday (opening day). The film registered slight growth during the weekend earning ₹ 2.25 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 2.7 Cr on Sunday. Keeping steady the film earned ₹ 2.25 Cr on Monday. Swatantra Veer Savarkar now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 8.25 Cr.
Swatantra Veer Savarkar is a biographical drama depicting the life of Veer Savarkar, a Hindutva ideologue and freedom fighter, emphasizing his pivotal role in India’s independence movement, including his imprisonment in Kaala Paani jail. The film aims to highlight Savarkar’s ideologies and his vision for a liberated India.
Madgaon Express Box Office Collection Day 4
Kunal Kemmu’s comedy film, “Madgaon Express” earned approx. ₹ 1.5 Cr on its first day (Friday) at the box office. Just like Veer Savarkar, Madgaon Express also witnessed slight growth during the weekend earning ₹ 2.75 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 2.8 Cr on Sunday. Keeping the pace the film earned ₹ 2.60 Cr on Monday. Madgaon Express now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 9.65 Cr.
“Madgaon Express” is a caper comedy following three friends as they pursue their childhood dream trip to Goa, which unexpectedly spirals into a nightmarish adventure. Starring Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary, Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye, and Chhaya Kadam the film was released in theatres on 22 March.
