Zee Studios dropped the trailer of Gadar 2 last evening and the Internet is talking about it since then. Millions of fans of classic film Gadar are way too excited for the sequel. However, actor-turned-critic Kamaal R Khan (KRK) has brutally criticized Gadar 2 trailer and also made mean comments on Sunny Deol.
Reacting to Gadar 2 trailer, KRK wrote in a tweet, “My God! what a top class Waahiyat trailer of film #Gadar2! The biggest problem of the trailer is Utkarsh Sharma son of director Anil Sharma. He doesn’t know even A of acting. And he looks like a poor family’s girl instead of hero.”
“I have wasted my few minutes watching it,” he added.
Taking a dig at Sunny Deol, Kamaal R Khan said, “Many people are saying that people will watch #Gadar2 for Sunny Deol. Lol! Sunny’s family members, neighbors, Barber, laundry man also don’t watch his films forget about public.”
His tweets has drawn the attention of Twitter users. A user slammed KRK and called him “berozgar”.
Someone wrote, “Abe thodi baat bhi kar liya kar Ya sirf #Bakwaash hi karta hai.”
A person sarcastically said, “Sirji aap sirf Deshdrohi 2.0 release karo..Salman, SRK, Aamir sab ko picche rakhoge..”
“When ‘Gadar 1’ was released in 2001, the whole of Bollywood (including you) was against it-they tried their best to pull it down n to pull ‘Lagan’ up,but the audience pulled it up. Now also same thing gonna happen- U guys r pulling up ‘OMG-2’ and ‘Jawan’ but Gadar 2 will rock on!” wrote a fan of Sunny Deol and Gadar franchise.
However, some users agree with KRK’s views and point out the disappointment regarding the trailer. A netizen wrote, “I agree Utkarsh Sharma doesn’t even know how to give expressions n his dialogue delivery is worst. The director still thinks it is 80’s n 90’s n sunny deol is in his 30’s. Bad VFX / action is not up to d mark ,infact it’s bad. I m a huge fan of Deol’s but d trailer is disappointing.”
Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma and features Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma. The film will release in theatres on 11 August 2023.
