Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is back with the 8th season of his celebrity chat show, Koffee With Karan 8. Up until now, 3 episodes have been broadcast that featured husband and wife duo Deepika and Ranveer, sibling duo Sunny-Bobby Deol, and BFF duo Sara Ali Khan-Ananya Panday. As per the latest reports, it is now believed that actor Saif Ali Khan could also make his appearance on the show with his mother Sharmila Tagore.
Sharmila Tagore-Saif Ali Khan To Appear On Koffee With Karan 8
A source revealed to Zoom that the filmmaker and show host Karan Johar had recorded an episode with the mother-and-son duo. The source stated that getting Sharmila Tagore on the show was more difficult than getting Saif Ali Khan. However, the show host Karan Johar had managed to get both Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan on the show.
For the unversed, Saif Ali Khan last appeared on the chat show with his daughter Sara Ali Khan in the 6th season. Apart from that the actor also appeared in season 5 alongside actress Kangana Ranaut. The episode is by far the most controversial episode on the chat show.
On the other hand, Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan recently appeared on the 8th season of the chat show with her BFF Ananya Panday. The two friends had a great time spilling beans about their personal life on the show. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan’s wife Kareena will also be seen in the upcoming episode with Alia Bhatt.
Karan Johar recently revealed the guest list of the chat show. The upcoming episodes will feature Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and others.
For the unversed, Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Bobby Deol-Sunny Deol, Sara Ali Khan, and Ananya Panday have previously graced the show in the first, second, and third episodes. For the unversed, Koffee With Karan season 8 will stream exclusively on Disney+Hotstar from October 26.
