KK’s Song ‘Dhoop Paani Bahne De’ From Pankaj Tripathi’s Sherdil Releases, Fans React

Fans recall late singer KK, as his song 'Dhoop Pani Bahne De' from Pankaj Tripathi's Sherdil releases on various platforms.

The producers of Pankaj Tripathi starrer Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga have released their first song, the song will be featuring the melodious voice of the lt. legendary Bollywood singer KK. The song will be the first-ever release ever since his death. The song is titled Dhoop Paani Bahne De, written by Gulzar, and has been composed by Shantanu Moitra.

Bollywood singer KK Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, died in Kolkata on Tuesday night, officials said. He was 53 and survived by his wife and two sons. KK performed at a concert organized by a college at Nazrul Mancha in south Kolkata for almost an hour in the evening. The singer survived a massive heart attack after his concert.

While here’s some good news for the singers’ fans as they will now get to listen to the melodious voice of the singer once again. As the producers of Sherdil have recently launched the song of KK titled ‘Dhoop Paani Bahne De’. In the video of the song, Pankaj is seen traveling through the forest. The video features Neeraj Kabi and Sayani Gupta as well.

Reacting to the video, KK fans wrote, “Hard to believe that we wouldn’t get any new song from him again. I feel like he is with us, whenever I hear his voice,” another user commented, “Can’t control my tears while listening,”, “The sukoon (calm) his voice offers, is just incomparable.”, “Wish KK was there. But I still feel that whenever I hear your songs, I still feel the same vibes as I felt when I heard your song for the first time. (First time when I was in love),”, “It will never feel the same listening to KK sir, he is the greatest of all time,” and more.

Referring to the singer, song writer Gulzar “Srijit has done me a favor in Sherdil. Not only did I get to write for such a beautiful film, but I also got to meet KK for ages. KK had first sung a song of mine in Maachis, Chhor aye hum woh galiya. When he came to sing the song for Sherdil, it filled my heart with joy but It’s a shame that this had to go down as one of his last songs. It’s like he came to say goodbye.”

“Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga” is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Film, and Reliance Entertainment. The film is helmed by Bhushan Kumar, Reliance Entertainment, and Match Cut Productions Private Limited.
