After tying the knot with Vicky Kaushal, actress Katrina Kaif did her ‘Pehli Rasoi’ today. It is a Hindu and Punjabi ritual after the wedding in which the bride is supposed to make something sweet for her husband and in-laws. It is the bride’s first cooking session in her new home. Following the customs, Katrina made Sooji Halwa. She took to her Instagram and posted a picture holding a bowl of Halwa topped with raisins. She wrote ‘Maine Banaya and Chauka Chadhana.’
Vicky Kaushal also posted a picture of the sweet dish made by his wife Katrina. Appreciating her cooking skills, he wrote, “Best halwa ever (with kiss emojis)”.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal got married on Dec 9 in Rajasthan. Their royal wedding was an intimate ceremony with only family members and closest of friends in presence. Since then, the couple has been sharing pictures from their wedding festivities on social media.
On the work front, Katrina will be next seen in Tiger 3 alongside ex-boyfriend Salman Khan. She will also begin the shooting of Farhan Akhtar’s directorial ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ also starring Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the biopic of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
