Karan Johar and B Praak announce the 2.0 Version of the Chartbuster Track ‘Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aai’ from ‘KKHH’

‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ is a classic-cult hit of its time, which also marked the directorial debut of Karan Johar. As a multi-starrer, it featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Anupam Kher, and Salman Khan in an extended cameo. The film received praise from critics, and audiences of all ages showered immense love on the movie, making it a timeless family-romantic genre blockbuster that is still watched by many. No Indian wedding is complete without a dance performance to ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s’ tracks due to its evergreen popularity.

This iconic creation is all set to celebrate 25 years on the 15th of October, and it will be re-released for a special screening by its makers, Dharma Productions, on its ‘Silver Jubilee Anniversary’ at PVR-Inox.

B Praak, the singer famous for the song ‘Teri Mitti,’ is set to recreate the chartbuster track ‘Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aai’ as its 2.0 version. The singer shared this exciting news on his Instagram handle, expressing thanks and gratitude to Karan Johar for allowing him to recreate this all-time favorite song. In response, ‘K-Jo’ also joyfully reposted this collaboration on his social media. ‘Sony Music’ label and Dharma are coming together again for this magical recreation.

The original track featured ace choreographer Geeta Kapoor in a dance number, and legends like Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, and Manpreet Akhtar lent their melodious voices to the song, which was composed by the dynamic duo Jatin Lalit, with Sameer Anjaan credited for its magnetic lyrics.

B Praak has delivered massive hits in Punjabi and Hindi languages, such as ‘Raanjha,’ ‘Filhall,’ and ‘Filhall-2,’ with stars like Akshay Kumar. The singer is expected to work wonders and create magic with his upcoming release with Dharma too!
