Jawan OTT Release: Netflix Premieres Film’s Extended Cut Version

Directed by Atlee film Jawan is one of the biggest blockbusters of the year 2023. The film grossed more than 1000cr at the box office. And after smashing box office records the extended version of the film was now released on streaming giant, Netflix on megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s 58th birthday.

Sharing the announcement on their social media handles Netflix shared a video featuring Shah Rukh Khan announcing the release of the extended cut version of his film Jawan on OTT. The video featured Shah Rukh Khan threatening Netflix to release Jawan on his birthday. Later the star announced that as a present for his fans, his film Jawan will be streaming on Netflix from 2 November.

Sharing the video Netflix wrote, “Birthday Jawan ka hai par gift sab ke liye We’re good to go! Jawan (the extended cut) is now streaming in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, only on Netflix”.

About Jawan: Cast

Atlee’s directorial Jawam features Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan alongside Nayanthara as the female lead, Vijay Sethupathi as the main antagonist, Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance and Sanjay Dutt also makes a cameo in the film. Apart from them the film also features Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Lehar Khan, Sunil Grover, and Girija Oak in significant roles.

Jawan Lifetime Box Office Collection

Jawan hit the theatres on 7th September this year. The film had a blockbuster opening worth Rs 75 crore. Just by the end of its first week at the box office, the film entered the 200cr club. The film ended its theatrical run with a total lifetime worldwide collection of a whopping 1,050 crore. While the domestic lifetime collection of the film stands at a total of Rs 626.05 crore.
