Janhvi Kapoor hails herself as the biggest fan of Alia Bhatt. Well, who isn’t? Even Ananya Panday adores the Darlings actor. However, Janhvi can go to any extent to do a film with Alia, she may kill someone. Yes, that is right, the dhadak actor revealed how much she fangirls the Student of the Year fame.
Both the actors are busy promoting their respective upcoming movies. Janhvi is playing the lead role in Good Luck Jerry and Alia Bhatt will be seen in Darlings. Good Luck Jerry is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar while Darlings will release on 5th August on streaming giant Netflix.
During the Good Luck Jerry promotions, Janhvi confessed her admiration for Alia. The young actress mentioned that she stalks the latter on social media and even aims to do a film with her. Even in Koffee with Karan 7 episode, the Kapoor girl selected all Alia and Ranbir Kapoor options in the rapid-fire round. She is also scared that her excess of fangirling might push the actor to file a restraining order.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Janhvi said: “I would kill somebody, I would kill everyone to do a film with Alia Bhatt. I am definitely her biggest fan. In fact, I stalk her. I don’t stalk her but like every time her trailer or her film comes out, I get really like hyper and agitated. Because I am so fond of her. And I don’t realise how incoherent my text messages to her sound. Like when someone types in Capital letters, doesn’t it feel like they’re yelling? So all of my messages to her are like in caps locks.”
The actor added, “And I am scared, I am so worried that she is gonna file a restraining order. Because they’re all like ‘OH MY GOD. WHAT THE HELL. ARE YOU OKAY? THIS IS NOT OKAY. I CAN’T BREATHE!!!’ I am so aggressive with her on texts. If I show you my conversations it’s just me like screaming, and she’s just like ‘thanks babu.’ I think she’s scared of me.”
Good Luck Jerry is a remake of the Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila. Janhvi will play the role of a Bihar girl who gets involved in a drug racket to earn quick money. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt kidnaps her husband with help of her mother in Darlings. The black-comedy drama film is Alia’s first film as producer.
