Here’s why Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan advised him to not worry about Dabangg 3

Salman Khan in his recent interview spoke about the advice his father and veteran screenwriter Salim Khan gave him. Salim Khan who is usually very critical of his work advised him to worry about the outcome of his upcoming cop-action film, "Dabangg 3."

Salman Khan who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Dabangg 3, revealed how his father veteran screenwriter Salim Khan advised him not to worry about the outcome of his film. He also admitted that his father has always been very critical of his work, he said, “My father is very critical about our movies. Most of the times, he straight away tells us, this film has gone Beta, forget about it. He used the same words for this film (Dabangg 3) but in a positive manner, saying, forget about it, don’t take stress over this film, don’t let the success of this film get to your head, and work hard for the next film.”

As Dabangg 3 will also be released in multiple languages, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, including Hindi, Salman recalled an incident that took place while he was dubbing for Dabangg 3 trailer in Tamil. He stated that after he dubbed for the Tamil version of the trailer, he showed the same to the director of the film, Prabhudheva. Once he heard it, he literally asked Salman, “Sir, what language (are you speaking in)?” Salman revealed how they then got a good dubbing artist for the Tamil version, but Salman yet insisted to try again. But Prabhudheva told him to just concentrate on Hindi dubbing (laughs.)

Now that Salman worked as an ‘item boy’ in the song “Munna badnaam hua,” he was asked if he would work as an item boy for other producers. But Salman said, “It’s doubtful. It will be only be possible if I will work for free.” After Dabangg 3, Salman will commence filming for “Radhe” which will hit theatres by Eid, in 2020. On being asked if he would have a Diwali release just like e did in Diwali 2015 with Sooraj Barjatya’s “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”, he said, “The day Sooraj Barjatya makes the film, it will release in Diwali.”
