Veteran actor Dharmendra is garnering appreciation for his role in the movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani’ and is also in the news for his lip-lock with Shabana Azmi. However, when Dharmendra’s wife Hema Malini was asked about the kiss in the movie, she responded, “I am sure people have loved the film. I am so happy for Dharam ji because he loves to be in front of the camera all the time. He loves it,” at a book launch event in New Delhi for her brother RK Chakravarty’s autobiography, ‘Galloping Decades.’
On the same day, Dharmendra was present at the success party of the movie, and when questioned about the same, he replied, “I am receiving messages from the people, and I said, ‘ye to mere daaye haath ka kaam hai kuch baaye haath se karvana ho vo bhi karva lo.'”
Dharmendra expressed humbleness towards the love he has been receiving from millions of his fans for decades. He sweetly said, “Aap logon ne dil mein jo jagah de rakhi hai..use jaane nahi dunga. Aise hi bnaaye rakhunga kyunki mujhe banna nahi aata. Mai haqiqat hoon. Jo dil mein hai, man mein hai, vo keh deta hoon. Aur mohabbat se badh kar kuch nahi. (The place that you have given me in your hearts, I will never lose it. I am real. I say whatever is in my heart. And there’s nothing bigger than love).”
