Fighter BANNED In Gulf Countries Except UAE, Here’s Why!

After Tiger 3, Siddharth Anand's film, Fighter release has also been banned in the Gulf countries except for UAE. Know why.

Siddharth Anand’s much-awaited and highly-anticipated film, Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor is all set to hit the theatres on 25th January. However, just days ahead of the release it was revealed that the release of Siddharth Anand’s film, Fighter has been banned in all the Gulf countries except, UAE.

According to film business expert and producer, Girish Johar, the film Fighter has denied its release in all the Gulf countries except for UAE, meanwhile, the reason is still kept a secret. Sharing the same, he tweeted, “In a setback, #Fighter officially banned across Middle East regions for theatrical release. Only UAE will release the film with PG15 classification!”.

Tiger 3 Banned In Gulf Countries

While the ban is confirmed, the makers are yet to issue an official statement regarding the same. For the unversed, before Fighter, Maneesh Sharma’s film Tiger 3 starring Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan was also banned from releasing in countries like Kuwait and Qatar.
