Bollywood couple Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja finally welcomed their first baby boy on 20 August 2022. The duo announced the news on their social media with a short note, reacting to the same many Bollywood celebrities including Sonam Kapoor’s father Anil Kapoor, filmmaker Farah khan, and Neetu Kapoor among many others congratulated the duo on the good news.
B-Town Celebs Congratulates Sonam And Anand On Welcoming Their Baby Boy
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja recently announced about the new addition to their family. The actress shared the news on her Instagram and wrote, “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends, and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning but we know our lives are forever changed. – Sonam and Anand,”
Reacting to the post many Bollywood celebs were seen congratulating the duo, Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor shared the announcement and wrote, “We are delighted to announce, on the 20th of August 2022, the arrival of the newest member of our family. Sonam and Anand have been blessed with a healthy baby boy and we couldn’t be more elated. Our hearts are bursting with pride and love for the new parents and their beautiful angel.”
While the veteran actress Neetu Kapoor also shared the news on her Instagram stories and congratulated the two, apart from her filmmaker Farah Khan congratulated the duo and Anil Kapoor, actor Ritesh Deshmukh commented, “Woohooo!! Many congratulations sirrrrrr!!!!”, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni wrote, “Congratulations”, Kriti Sanon commented “Congrats!!!” with heart emoticons.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja got married as per Sikh rituals on May 8 in Mumbai. The wedding ceremony was attended by family members and close friends. Posting a few photos with Anand Ahuja, the diva announced her pregnancy in April.
In an interview with Vogue India, Sonam revealed about hiding her pregnancy and said, “Dressing has been an experience. First I was trying to hide it because it was like a situation where I am still.. like now I am more comfortable being more open about it but first I was trying to hide it, so I was wearing all these loose clothes.”
On The Work Front
Sonam Kapoor was recently seen on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan 7 with her brother Arjun Kapoor. While now the actress will next be seen in her upcoming film Blind directed by Shome Makhija. The film also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey in prominent roles.
