In a candid move, she hosted an Ask Me Anything session, revealing juicy tidbits about her latest venture, “Thank You For Coming,” and firing back with her signature wit. During the session, one bold netizen pleaded with Ekta Kapoor to “stop making adult movies.”

Ekta responded with a witty comeback, as she wrote, “No, I am an adult, so I will make adult movies.”

People loved Ekta’s sassy reply. Comedian Atul Khatri reacted, “Hahahaha..”

Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 fame Soundous Moufakir replied, “I love you Ekta, hope to work with you someday.”

Things got even spicier when another user accused her and Karan Johar of “ruining the nation.” Ekta, never one to back down, simply replied with a contemplative “Hmmmmmm!”

The user went on to claim that the duo was responsible for an increase in divorces in India, to which Ekta once again responded with her enigmatic “Hmmmmmmm hmmmmmm.”

Not one to dwell on the controversy, Ekta Kapoor also touched upon her latest project, “Thank You For Coming.” She described the film as “a little mad movie” made in collaboration with Rhea Kapoor, designed not to “smash patriarchy” but to “tickle with feathers under its nose so all the BS gets sneezed out.” It’s clear that Ekta has a unique and daring vision for her work.

“Thank You For Coming” is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. Directed by Rhea’s husband, Karan Boolani, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Bhumi Pednekar, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, Shibani Bedi, Shehnaaz Gill, Karan Kundrra, and the evergreen Anil Kapoor.
