Ek Villain Returns Twitter Review: Viewers Give Mixed Reactions

Ek Villain Returns– Disha Patani, John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria starrer film Ek Villain Returns has finally hit the screens. The much-anticipated film went down in the theatres on 29th July 2022, soon after which the early watchers shared their reviews on Twitter giving mixed reactions to the film, while many Twitterati were seen hailing John Abraham and Disha Patani’s performance in the film.

Mohit Suri’s directorial Ek Villain Returns has hit the theatres today. The film is a sequel to Suri’s 2014 film Ek Villain which starred actor Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor along with actor Ritesh Deshmukh. Meanwhile, Ritesh Deshmukh’s special appearance is also rumored in the sequel.

The romantic, psychological thriller film features John Abraham as Bhairav against Gautam, played by Arjun Kapoor. While the two actresses have undoubtedly raised the fiery quotient in the film. Reacting to the film the early watchers have now shared their reactions on Twitter.

A user wrote, “UNBEARABLE….CRINGE CRINGE CRINGE….@madanmitraoff’s photo is more interesting than the film…avoid STRICTLY….LEFT BEFORE INTERVAL….#JohnAbraham & #DishaPatani are SUPER CRINGE and look old…#ArjunKapoor saviour”, talking about Shamshera’s failure a user wrote, “Failure of #Shamshera will give huge benefit to #EkVillainReturns & #VikrantRona….. Multiplex will remove Shamshera and 90% shows will be divided between EV2 & VR….. In Hindi belt EV2 will lead both in terms of Screens & show ration…. In Karnataka it will be VR with 80%+ shows”.

#EkVillainReturns is a pulpy logic free erotica thriller with an interesting climax.

The cringe dialogues aside, it makes me think how better actors could have made this an even better venture: only #JohnAbraham & #DishaPatani shining momentarily.
