"Hero No 1" is expected to feature not one, but two heroines. Joining the cast as Tiger Shroff's love interest is Pashmina Roshan, Hrithik Roshan's cousin.

The dynamic duo of Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff is all set to grace the silver screen once again in the upcoming film “Hero No 1.” The filmmaker behind the project, Jagan Shakti, confirmed this exciting news to ETimes. Originally, Sara Ali Khan was cast for a pivotal role in the film, but scheduling conflicts led to Disha Patani stepping in.

Reacting to reports about Disha’s replacement of Sara, Jagan Shakti, known for his work on “Mission Mangal,” explained, “Disha is the fittest and apt to do action. Sara was definitely a part of it, but unfortunately, we couldn’t match the date.”

“Hero No 1” is expected to feature not one, but two heroines. Joining the cast as Tiger Shroff’s love interest is Pashmina Roshan, Hrithik Roshan’s cousin. This original film, directed by Jagan Shakti, is not a remake or sequel of the 1997 classic starring Govinda and directed by David Dhawan. The project is being produced by Jackky Bhagnani’s production house.

According to a source to Hindustan Times, the shoot for “Hero No 1” is set to commence in London in January 2024. Tiger Shroff has already shot an action sequence for the film, while both Disha and Pashmina will join him on set next year. This collaboration marks Tiger’s third film under Bhagnani’s production, following “Ganapath” and “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.”

In 2022, rumours swirled about a potential breakup between Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff, who had been in a relationship for some time. Both actors chose to remain tight-lipped about the speculations. However, reports suggested that Tiger had been linked with Akanksha Sharma, with whom he collaborated on two music videos.

On the work front, Disha Patani is set to appear opposite Suriya in “Kanguva,” directed by Siruthai Siva. The film is rumored to be a grand, period warrior epic with Disha in a prominent role. She is also part of the ensemble cast in “Project K,” alongside Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Prabhas. Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff is gearing up for “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” where he’ll share the screen with Akshay Kumar.
