Many Bollywood celebrities have slammed the Central Government for the current situation in India. The country is currently facing one of the worst COVID-19 situations now with medical resources and infrastructure falling apart. Adequate resources are not available for Covid patients and several Indian hospitals are running short of Oxygen cylinders and ICU beds. Seeing this heart-wrenching situation in the nation, many Bollywood celebs have slammed the Central government led by PM Narendra Modi and have held them responsible.

Richa Chadha wrote, “Credit chahiye na? Toh blame bhi milega.”

She further wrote, “You can say anything- like we’ll have 20 smart cities, we’ll become a Superpower, we will have 5 Trillion economy and jobs! You say what you want, cuz it doesn’t have to be true. Truth is – we don’t have oxygen cylinders, beds, medicines, vaccines and firewood for cremations.”

In a poetic manner, Farhan Akhtar wrote, “Unse humdardi ki ummeed main ab kya rakhoon jo mere jaltey ghar se apni beedi jalaane aaye hain Jab koi deewar, koi kamra, koi dhaancha hi na raha, woh mere girrey chhat pe apni seedhi chadhaane aaye hain.”

Swara Bhaskar tweeted, “This government should be prosecuted for manslaughter. There, I said it.”

Actor Siddharth wrote, “When you are voted out of power one day, this country will truly be vaccinated. Its coming. We will still be here… at least to remind you of this tweet.”

Meanwhile, the A-listers of Bollywood are still silent even though the country is under the biggest crisis.
