Brahmastra Twitter Review, Fans Calls It “Disappointing”

After much buzz and controversies, Ayan Mukerji’s much-anticipated film Brahmastra has finally hit the theatres. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra which earlier received a lot of criticism, boycott trend, and even protest has now finally made it to the theatres, however, it seems that the film has unfortunately failed to exceed the expectations of the audience.

A ton of early watchers of the film have shared their reactions on Twitter calling the film “disappointing” while others were seen targeting Ayan Mukerji for wasting the stellar cast and the cameos of the various big names like Shah Rukh Khan and Nagarjuna among others in the film. While many were seen hailing Shah Rukh’s performance others were seen criticizing Mouni Roy’s acting in the film.

The acclaimed film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh also shared his review on Brahamstra, calling it “disappointing” he wrote, “Doesn’t meet the sky-high expectations… Clichéd plot and predictable formula remodelled with new packaging… #AliaBhatt very bad, lacklustre screenwriting is a roadblock”.

Meanwhile, the netizens and the early watchers of the film also gave some similar reactions, a user wrote, “Right from the opening scene lacking in connect with the audience. 30 mins story stretched to a 2.5hr movie. A few bright spots can’t save it from clunky writing. Highly disappointed, Wasted a stellar cast.”, another user wrote, “Finally watched the movie. Not expected the worst level of a screenplay. The story is not up to mark. The only best thing in the movie is SRK’s cameo. The run time could have been trimmed 20-25 minutes.”
