Brahmastra: Ayan Mukerji’s directorial Brahamstra is undoubtedly one of the most-awaited and much-anticipated films of 2022. The fantasy adventure film stars the famous Bollywood couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, with megastars like Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and others. And without any surprise the film has broken records with its advance bookings, however, during a recent press conference, the Brahmastra actor Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he isn’t taking these figures seriously, here’s why-
Ranbir Kapoor Reveals He Is Not Taking The Advance Bookings Seriously
Brahmastra actor Ranbir Kapoor recently visited New Delhi with Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji for a press conference on Brahmastra. During the event, the actor was asked by the media to express his views on the advance booking trends of Brahmastra, since the film has been breaking the records with advance bookings, so far.
Reacting to the same Ranbir stated that they can’t take these figures too seriously until the audience actually watches the film and gives it a thumbs up, he said, “The film is made for the audience. I think on Friday, we will get to know where we are, kitne paani ke andar hai.”
He added, “The feeling is, of course, positive. We have come as Shah Rukh Khan from Dilwale (Dulhaniya) Le Jaayenge, asking you to ‘come to watch our movie!’ That’s all.” Ranbir further added that his wife and co-star Alia is quite excited over the response to the advance booking, and said “She is noting everything, this much is open here, this is the response there.”
Brahmastra Advance Bookings Breaks Records
Despite the ongoing protests and boycott trends, it seems that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahamstra is receiving a good response from the audience at the box office. The film has now sold more than 2 Lakh tickets with its advance bookings leaving behind major blockbuster hits like RRR and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Apparently, the film has grossed approx Rs 23 crores at the box office with just the advance bookings and the film is now expected to end the dry spell at the box office.
