Ever since the teaser of Kesariya was launched it had piqued the curiosity of fans to listen to the full song. The wait is finally over now as the makers of Brahmastra have announced the release date of the full song Kesariya. Director Ayan Mukerji chose to fulfill fans’ wish by releasing the song despite that not being his foremost choice as the first song of Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva to be released.
The song featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as Shiva and Isha in Kesariya will be released on 17th July 2022. Making the big announcement Ayan Mukerji took over his social media handle. He uploaded a short video that slideshows pictures from the teaser of Kesariya with fans’ tweets and comments showing love and requesting the full song.
Sharing his thoughts on the Kesariya song, Ayan penned a heartfelt note, “Our Music Journey really takes off tomorrow… with the Launch of Kesariya! Pritam / Dada – was one of the first collaborators to take on the Brahmāstra journey, and we have spent years – of sleepless nights, making songs, rejecting songs, stressing on timelines, cups of tea, thinking discussing working creating – on Brahmāstra! I think – that relationship is the highest level of creative collaboration I have on this movie, and his work more than anyone’s, gives Soul to this Vision. To be honest, I always imagined that we would launch a song which was just about SHIVA, as the first song of Brahmāstra…But there was SO much warmth for the Kesariya Teaser, that we decided we had to put it out first (or, everyone would kill us)!”
He further added: And now, I can’t imagine it being any other way… because Kesariya is about Shiva and ISHA… and their Love, which, is the Core of Brahmāstra…! Hope you guys enjoy the song when it drops tomorrow, enjoy its beauty and simplicity, and that it adds some joy to your lives !!” “P.S.: Do look out for the Song in all our South Languages … Each version has a distinct identity and we’ve done our best on each of them!” he concluded.
Karan Johar also tweeted sharing glimpses from the song. “The love, light and MAGIC of #Kesariya is out tomorrow! Stay tuned for the most loved and awaited tune of the year #Brahmastra.”
Kesariya is considered as Love Anthem of the year and the full song will be released tomorrow i.e. 17th July 2022 in multiple languages. Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva is an upcoming fantasy adventure film featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna. It is written and directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar under the banners of Dharma Productions. The much-awaited movie is set to make its way to theaters on 9th September 2022.
