Bobby Deol Slammed For Visiting Gurudwara With Shirt Buttons Open: ‘Looking So Wasted,’ Wrote A User

A video circulating on social media shows Bobby dressed formally with the top button of his shirt undone, drawing criticism from netizens for not adhering to the decorum of the religious place.

Bobby Deol is gearing up for his upcoming release ‘Animal,’ slated to hit theaters in December. Ahead of its release, the actor is dedicated to ensuring the film’s success at the box office, recently spotted at a gurudwara in Delhi.

However, a video circulating on social media shows Bobby dressed formally with the top button of his shirt undone, drawing criticism from netizens for not adhering to the decorum of the religious place.

One user shared the video and addressed Bobby Deol directly, stating, “A question to Bobby Deol: Will you go like this to meet PM or CM or Ambani Adani? Here you are going to GuruGhar… have some respect. Button up.”

Expressing disappointment, another user commented, “Looking so wasted @thedeol. Come in Humility, Go in Humility. You will be bowing before the almighty. Keep a semblance of respect.”

Criticizing the trend of promoting movies by visiting religious places, another user remarked, “This practice of promoting movies by visiting Gurudwara or Mandirs or any other religious places must stop. If these guys have to go, they should go as normal devotees without the cameras and paraphernalia.”

Amidst the controversy, ‘Animal’ is scheduled for release on December 1. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film stars Bobby Deol alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna. Recently, the movie’s music was launched, and Ranbir and Bobby were seen enjoying the event together.

In a recent interview with Variety, Ranbir Kapoor addressed his decision to join ‘Animal,’ addressing queries about Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s previous films, ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Kabir Singh,’ known for their controversial portrayals. Ranbir explained, “I was genuinely captivated by the ‘Animal’ script. It’s a unique and intense story that caught my attention. While I did watch ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Kabir Singh,’ my decision to be a part of ‘Animal’ was primarily influenced by the script, the character, and the opportunity to collaborate with Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
