He gained popularity as an RJ with his show on BIG FM, where he used the pseudonym “Ayushmann.” He later transitioned to acting and made his debut in the Bollywood film industry with the movie “Vicky Donor” in 2012, which was a critical and commercial success. Since then, Ayushmann Khurrana has become a prominent and versatile actor known for his roles in films that often address social issues and push creative boundaries. With his voice dubbing talent, he surprised everyone with his 2019 film Dream Girl when he dubbed the female voice. And now he is all set to mesmerize his fans with the second part.

During a conversation with ANI, Ayushmann discussed the preparations he underwent to get into the skin of his role as Pooja in the Dream Girl film. His experience as a radio jockey and his involvement in theatre proved immensely valuable, particularly for this project. During his time at the radio station, he would engage in playful calls while impersonating a woman. Additionally, he would dial his girlfriend’s number and pretend to be her female friend whenever her father answered the phone.

Talking about what audiences can expect from the sequel, he said that Ekta Kapoor, who is the producer of the film, wanted it to be funnier than the previous part, and he really feels that they have managed to do that. Version 2.0….double fun, he concluded.

Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girm 2 is all set to hit theatres on August 25th, which also stars Ananya Pandey.
