Boycott Bollywood Anupam Kher

While it is for the next production, Shiv Shastri Balboa, on Twitter, speaks about this, that the #BoycottBollywod-Trend will not harm the film and says: “Aap trend dekh ke thodi picture dekhne jaoge. Koi bhi nahi jaata trend padh ke. Agar aapko trailer aacha laga.” toh aap jayege film dekhne. Jab pitcute aachi hai toh duniya ki koi takat nahi rok sakti. (If you liked the movie trailer, you want to see it. If the film is well made, no one has the power to sabotage it. People even go to the movies with a sense of revenge against the hate trend.)

Anupam, who will next star in its inaugural production, adds that movie lovers have never kept up with the trollers, but getting them back in theaters has been a task. “Cinema audiences have never boycotted the cinema. We had been through the Covid pandemic, there was a lockdown and people were being asked to stay at home. This happened after about 100 years. At this stage, the audience is looking for other entertainment options. The OTT platforms took off and started watching the movies with ease. It takes time to get them (the audience) out of the fear.”

Hopefully, upcoming films, including Shiv Shastri Balboa, will continue to entertain audiences.” Shiv Shastri Balboa hits theaters on February 10.
