Brahmastra: Just a few days before the release of the much-anticipated film, Brahamstra the Bollywood couple Ranbir and Alia faced a massive protest outside the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain and that’s not, for almost a month the film has been a target of the boycott trends as well. While during a recent press conference in New Delhi, Gangubai actress Alia Bhatt gave a savage reply to the ongoing online negativity and boycott trends and said, “there’s no negativity, everything is positive”.

Alia Bhatt Addresses Ongoing Protests And Boycott Trend In A “Cheeky Way”

On Wednesday, the Brahmastra actress Alia Bhatt visited New Delhi to promote her film. During the press conference, the actress was asked to comment and share her views on the current climate (referring to boycott calls and protests against her film Brahmastra).

To this, the actress shared her cheeky yet very savage reply and said,  “Which climate? Summer? Winter? There’s no such thing. It is a beautiful environment to release a film. Right now, we need to be healthy, safe, and secure. We should all feel grateful for life in general, aise kuch mat bolo, aap mat spread karo. Negative kuchh nahi hain environment, sab positive hain, sab acha hain (There’s no negativity, everything is positive).”

She further added, “We are so happy that theatres are back, films are back in theatres. We are very grateful that we are getting to do our job and put it out for the audience to watch. Climate yahi hain ki abhi September shuru ho gaya, agli maheene October shuru hoga.”

Ranbir Kapoor Addresses Boycott Trends And Shamshera’s Failure

Apart from Alia Bhatt, her husband and actor Ranbir Kapoor was also seen getting candid on the ongoing boycott trends, he also addressed the failure of his recently released film, Shamshera, and mentioned that the film went down as a failure due to its “content” and not the boycott trends.

Ranbir said, “I’ll give my own example, I had a film released a few weeks ago, Shamshera. I didn’t feel any negativity at that time, but the film didn’t work at the box office, because the audience didn’t like the film. Eventually, it is about content. Agar aap aachi film do…aacha content do. People feel entertained.”

Kapoor further added, “Who doesn’t want to go to the movies, experience different emotions, get moved by characters, feel an emotion, get entertained, have a great laugh, cry? So it is only for that. If the film didn’t work it is because the content didn’t work, and that’s the true answer.”
