After Vivek Agnihotri, Kangana Ranaut Takes A Dig At Brahmastra, Targets KJo

Kangana Ranaut comes in support of Vivek Agnihotri's film Kashmir Files, targeting Brahmastra and Karan Johar, here's what Kangana said-

Despite receiving mixed reviews from the audience Brahmastra has now crossed the 200cr mark with its domestic earnings and has surpassed many big hits of the year including Vivek Agnihotri’s film, Kashmir Files. Reacting to the same, yesterday The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri took a jibe at the box office success of the film, joining Vivek, Dhaakad actress Kangana Ranaut has now also taken a dig at Brahmastra box office success, here’s what she said-

On Tuesday, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram to share a long note targeting Bollywood filmmaker, Karan Johar and his film, Brahmastra. Sharing Vivek Agnihotri’s tweet Kangana wrote, “Kashmir Files a film made on Hindus genocide also trying to ride on its success, Kashmir Files was made in 10 cr…. and now according to mafia minions Karan Johar film has beaten it brutally… Karan Johar ji aap kya cheeze ho yaar”.

For the unversed, on Monday filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri took a jibe at Brahmastra after reports claimed that Ayan Mukerji’s film has surpassed Kashmir Files at the box office. Sharing some reports Vivek tweeted, “Hahahaha. I don’t know how did they beat #TheKashmirFiles… with sticks, rods, hockey… or AK47 or stones…. Or with paid PR and influencers? Let Bollywood films compete with each other. Leave us alone. I am not in that dumb race. Thanks.”

Kangana also shared her reaction to Brahmastra box office and post Covid-19 pandemic verdict model she wrote, “Post pandemic verdict model, especially invented for Karan Johar films… BTW (by the way) Thugs of Hindustan (2018) earned around ₹280 crore worldwide gross and its budget was also around ₹280 crore… Lekin (but) they didn’t spend on PR machinery. Nahi toh (otherwise) with the new KJo (Karan Johar) models, no film will ever flop,” 

Brahmastra Box Office Performance

Meanwhile, Brahmastra on the other hand is making stupendous earnings at the box office, the film has finally emerged as the dry spell breaker at the box office and is expected to become the biggest hit of the year soon. With its second weekend, the film has now managed to enter the 200cr club domestically and has already crossed the 350cr mark with its worldwide collection. The film was released in the theatres on 9 September and is now running in the theatres.
