“Adipurush Will Be My Fourth Ramayan,” Reveals Actor Bijay Anand

Actor Bijay Anand reveals that the upcoming film 'Adipurush' will be his fourth Ramayan in 30 years of his career.

Actor Bijay Anand, who will be seen playing the role of Lord Brahma in ‘Adipurush’ has revealed that it is his fourth project based on an epic tale of Ramayana. During our conversation about the upcoming film, he said, “I played the role of Laxman in BR Chopra’s Ramayan. In Siya Ke Ram, I played Janak. I was also a part of Satish Suri’s Ramayan. I don’t remember my role because it happened 20 years ago. And now, I am playing Brahma in Adipurush.”

When asked about how Adipurush will be different from other films or TV shows made on Ramayan, Bijay Anand said, “It is contemporary Ramayan, a little different from what we see traditionally. The whole saga of Ramayana will be told in a fresh way which the audience will love.”

Actor Bijay Anand was last seen in the horror-thriller film ‘Dybbuk’ that premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 29th October. He is seen playing the role of Emraan Hashmi’s boss in the film.

Prior to this, he was seen in 2021’s blockbuster film ‘Shershaah’ starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in lead roles. Bijay Anand played the role of Dimple Cheema’s father in this film based on Captain Vikram Batra.
