Aamir Khan recently bid goodbye to social media. On his birthday, Aamir made his last post that reads, “Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday. My heart is full. In other news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before. In addition, AKP has created its official channel! So future updates on me and my films can be found there. Lots of love, always.”
A day later, all his social media accounts were deleted.
Yesterday, he talked about the same with the media when he attended the screening of Kunal Kapoor’s film ‘Koi Jaane Na’. Aamir said, “Don’t cook your own theories. I dance to my own tunes. I was anyway not active on social media and therefore, I quit it. But I am not going anywhere. We used to communicate before social media took over our lives. We will continue to communicate in the same manner as we did before. The role of media will increase from now on, as I will talk to my audience via media only.”
